On Sunday, October 18, 2009, Jayson, Myrna, Mita Masi, and I participated in the 17th
Annual Komen Maryland Race for the Cure. It was COLD (again!) and WET when we left the house (40 F)...it even snowed earlier in the morning out in Hunt Valley where the Race took place!
As many of you know, this is an important annual tradition for us. We were celebrating all the amazing women who are living with this terrible disease, but in particular, we were there to honor my mom/Dadi: 8 year survivor, Auntie Jan: 17 year survivor, and Auntie Vicki: 19 year survivor. Mom/Dadi, Auntie Jan, and Auntie Vicki--you continue to amaze and inspire us!! We love you very much!!!
Over the years, mom & dad, Mita, and Steven have joined us and lucky for us, Mita Masi was able to come again this year :-) The weather was just miserable, but there was still a pretty good turnout, though not nearly as many as there would have been if the weather was better. Once again, Myrna was a trooper!
All the excitement tuckered Myrna & Mita Masi out.

We were all happy to be warm and dry at home...especially Myrna :-)
