Miss Ladybug celebrates her 2nd birthday!

Where has this year gone?! I can't believe that we are already celebrating Myrna's 2nd birthday?! She had quite a party yesterday with many of her daycare and neighborhood buddies.

Our lucky little ladybug had several out-of-town guests who flew in just for her special event: Dadajee, Dadima, Mita Masi, Tio Esteban, AND Uncle Joey!

The weather was spectacular this year! Nothing like the muggy mess of last year. The temperature was in the low 80s and there was even a nice breeze...very atypical for Baltimore for this time of the year.

Her party started at noon, and once again, her crazy mom dressed her to keep with the theme of the party.

Her birthday cake was AMAZING! Once again, Keith came through for us and created a masterpiece! It was gorgeous and delicious!





Myrna was quite taken aback by the fact that EVERYONE was serenading her with a rousing rendition of 'Happy Birthday'!

This year, she was much more dainty in her approach to eating her birthday cake. She didn't needed to be hosed down after this birthday cake encounter :-) We were very proud of how well she ate with her fork.

Of course, sometimes you just have to go the quicker route and and use your hands :-)

After the guests left and Myrna had a 2 hour nap, she enjoyed opening her birthday presents.

She particularly enjoyed playing with a look-alike baby doll from Dadima and her ice cream set from Mita Masi.

All in all, it was a spectacular day! We were so fortunate to be able to spend the day with family and good friends. Happy 2nd Birthday Myrna!
