Obama's Whistle Stop Tour

Since President-Elect Obama was making a stop in Baltimore, we had to take advantage of the opportunity to see him. It was pretty cold, but we elected to take Myrna with us. We walked down to the War Memorial Plaza, got through security, and were one of the last few people that were let into the plaza to hear him speak. Myrna was less than pleased to be there, but our hope is that when she's old enough to understand, she'll appreciate that she got to witness an amazing part of our history. We had a tough time getting a picture, but if you zoom in, you'll see the red circle highlighting President-Elect Obama. You can't see his face because the teleprompter was blocking his face. Just our luck...

But, his motorcade drove by only a block away from our house...that was really cool!
