Yes we can!

Was it a dream?! No, that win was REAL!! What an amazing day! We only stood in line for an hour to cast our votes for Barack Obama. We took Myrna along because, let's face it, this will be one of the MOST memorable elections in her lifetime, and we wanted her to really experience it (even though she probably won't remember it). Our little family couldn't be happier!

After dropping her off at daycare, Jayson and I drove down to 'real' Virginia and did some canvassing as well as some other volunteer work at the polls. Boy, were we happy when we saw that state turn BLUE last night!

Myrna was fast asleep when history was made last night, but Jay and I stayed up well into the night to hear the inspiring speech made by President Elect Obama. We were both in tears...we have such renewed hope that our country can truly head in the right direction. Gobama!!!!
